Join The Summer Long Blog Challenge On V7N

Sometimes things happen just the way I need! Having a Summer Long Blog Challenge   at V7N will be the perfect way to keep my focus on establishing this new blog.

Do you have a blog? Do you blog regularly? Ah, there’s the rub, isn’t it? Finding the motivation to post on a daily or regular basis. If you wish you posted more often, a blog challenge provides structure and accountability to help you stay on the ball, I mean, on the blog.

It’s also like finding a new family – one with which you have something in common. We all blog on different topics, but we share information about common needs, such as blog design, SEO, how to find topics, and plugins.

For example, yesterday, I learned how to create a text box. I was posting an interview with author Gabriel Goldenberg on his Advanced SEO book, and I wanted a text box with a different colored background for his bio at the close of the post – just like the below.

So, I shared how to create that on the blog challenge forum thread where we will share our posts and tips, get to know one another and ask questions.

If you have questions about search engine optimization (SEO) for your blog, this challenge will be helpful; I will be sharing how to’s on search marketing, such as this tip on an SEO checklist for blogs.

Joining the challenge will also bring you new readers, comments on your blog, Tweets and  new links, both from the forum, from commenting on other participants’ blogs, and from this post. If you do decide to join the party – and it will be a party – I will be happy to add something about you and your blog to the list below!

How dare you squander even one more day not taking advantage of the greatest shifts of our generation? How dare you settle for less when the world has made it so easy for you to be remarkable? ~ Seth Godin
